My Personal Favorite Spas in Canggu After Years of Trying Them All

Canggu is packed with amazing spas, and after living here for so long, I’ve tried more treatments than I can count. Some were good, some were okay, but a few stood out so much that I keep going back. These are my absolute favorites—whether you’re looking for deep relaxation, a glow-up, or just a moment of self-care in paradise.
1. House of Creambath – A Sanctuary for Hair & Head
This brand-new gem is everything I love in a spa: beautiful interior design, divine natural scents, and treatments that leave you floating. House of Creambath specializes in head, neck, and scalp treatments, and their signature hair rituals are pure bliss. The experience is topped off with a lovely complimentary tea, making it a must-visit if you want to treat yourself (and your hair) to something special.

2. Golddust – A Canggu Classic That Never Disappoints
Golddust has been around forever, and for good reason. Their new location is an oasis hidden in the middle of busy Canggu, offering the same high-quality treatments but in an even more peaceful setting. The Stressbuster Massage is one of my all-time favorites, and their facials are amazing if you want to refresh your skin. With skilled therapists and a serene atmosphere, it’s one of those places you leave feeling completely reset.

3. Facetherapy – The Ultimate Facial & Jaw Tension Release
Located in Umalas, Facetherapy is unlike any other spa I’ve tried. Their concept is all about deep facial muscle relaxation, and after a session, your face and jaw feel brand new. I highly recommend trying their buccal massage, which works on tension from the inside of the mouth—strange at first, but life-changing if you carry stress in your face and jaw. The whole vibe is calming, and the therapists really know what they’re doing.

4. Pradnya Spa – A Local Gem with Skilled Therapists
If you’re looking for a more affordable option without sacrificing quality, Pradnya Spa in Kerobokan is a great find. The staff here are incredibly skilled, and their hot stone massage is one of the best I’ve had. It’s a great spot to unwind without the hefty price tag, proving that you don’t always have to spend a fortune to get an amazing treatment in Bali.
Final Thoughts
Canggu is full of spas, but these four have truly stood out for me. Whether you're in the mood for a luxurious hair treatment, a deep-tissue massage, or a facial that melts away all tension, these places are worth a visit. If you try any of them, let me know what you think!
